The Fenn Bell Inn is thought to have been named after one of several bells erected on nearby marshes. In poor weather, these would ring to enable travellers to find a safe way across without getting stuck in the mud.
Today’s visitors can enjoy a selection of real ales along with a traditional menu of home made dishes and Sunday Roasts all made with fresh ingredients.
Outside, there is a large paved patio area with views over the large garden and pond. Work is currently underway to build a zoo to house our collection of rescued exotic animals and a 7 1/4" gauge miniature railway. There will also be an outside bar, large outdoor seating area and childrens play area.
